The James Place Inn Bed and Breakfast is the perfect spot to spend some time visiting the coast of Maine, whether for your vacation or romantic getaway. Nestled on a quiet side street, the James Place Inn B&B is a Victorian style house just around the corner from the world-famous L.L. Bean, great shopping and restaurants. 

Prefer to go see and experience the sites?  There is plenty of that, too!   From sailing excursions to lobster boat rides to lighthouses, we have it all.  Visit our "About the Area" section for sample itineraries and local activities.  As we like to tell our guests, "we can keep you plenty busy for three days, or you can relax and do nothing at all!"

After your day, enjoy your accommodations.  All rooms have flat-screen TVs with DVD and cable, Wi-Fi, private baths, individual thermostats, queen size beds, and air conditioning. A number of rooms feature Jacuzzi tubs or a wood-burning fireplace with a private deck. Enjoy a delicious full breakfast and locally roasted gourmet coffee each morning on the cafe deck or in the dining room. (Our special coffee, "The James Place Inn Blend" is so good we are often asked to ship it to our guests).
