Sail aboard a classic wooden sloop and stay at the James Place Inn for your Maine vacation experience. You will be treated to one of our beautifully decorated queen rooms (Jacuzzie and fireplace rooms available), your choice of beverage, and fresh locally-made chocolates. Two nights at the Jmaes Place Inn, including our gourmet breakfast and coffee, will have you well-rested to continue your experience. Enjoy an afternoon or sunset sail aboard "Nimbus, " a classic 37 foot wooden sloop with your captain Troy Scott of Sail Freeport (www.sailfreeport.com). This is a great way to see the beauty of Casco Bay! There is plenty more to do upon your return - we will be happy to make suggestions and supply itineraries. Stay, Sail, Dine Package - Option 2
Includes all of the above with a longer cruising experience aboard "Nimbus" of Sail Freeport. Want a longer sailing experience to see more of the islands and have a destination? Sail Nimbus with Captain Troy to Dolphin Marina and Restaurant in South Harpswell for lunch. This is sure to be an experience you won't soon forget! Expect about 4 hours total for your adventure.
Prices start at $635.00 (double occupancy) and include two nights at the James Place Inn, your sail for two aboard Nimbus, a L.L. Bean gift card for $100.00 and an Azure Cafe gift card for $50.00 (lunch at Dolphin Marina is not included).
Casco Bay Sail Package - What a View!
Day Sails or Sunset Cruises - you choose! Relax and enjoy the fabulous view of the Casco Bay islands aboard an antique sloop. Enjoy a fine meal in one of the many Freeport area restaurants before or after the sail, or take your own snacks and beverages aboard with you.
Return to your comfortable room at the James Place Inn for a good night's rest and a full breakfast before setting off on your adventures the following day. We will gladly make recommendations of all the area attractions and things to do.

Bird Watching - Maine has great bird watching and Scarborough Marsh is one of the top places to bird in Maine (about 25 minutes from here). It encompasses over 3,000 acres of estuarrine saltmarsh.
